Hailey is a Principal in the Health and Life Sciences practice in Oliver Wyman’s Washington, DC office. Hailey’s healthcare engagements have been focused on innovative payer-led ventures and partnerships, population health management, and corporate and operations strategy.

Relevant Experience

Definition of the multi-year strategy and product roadmap for a member advocacy product offering for a large regional health insurer, including oversight over initial product launch and development of the long-term solution offering portfolio and strategy. Led human-centered design thinking to inform solution strategy and roadmap, including facilitation of 50+ stakeholder multi-day design event.

Creation of a new population health management operating model for the Medicaid business of a large regional health insurer. Led detailed operating model design, including defining the supporting multi-disciplinary care team, identifying areas of focus for interventions based on population analysis, and key operational and process changes required to enable the future state model.

Assessment and opportunity identification for the ACA line of business of a regional health plan to impact medical trend and drive greater affordability to enable the plan to maintain their leading market position.

Design of a product offering for a joint payer-provider venture between a large regional insurer and hospital system aimed at providing a 20+% more affordable health product with a best-in-class consumer experience.

Multi-year development of a joint venture between a large regional health insurer and technology conglomerate, focused on driving consumer engagement and improving health outcomes through development of a digital health solution. Led the development of the financial business case and 5 year forecast for the ~$1 BN venture. Drove ongoing strategic and competitive assessment of the new venture.

Development of the clinical operating model for a large, national health insurer, identifying a total incremental net impact of ~$200 M. Led identification of the leading capabilities required to ensure long-term success, focusing on the Medicare Advantage segment. Designed a clinical strategy setting process and governance structure and a new product management organizational structure.
