Senior Advisor, Health and Life Sciences

Kim is a Senior Advisor in Oliver Wyman’s Health and Life Sciences Practice.  She is a senior executive with twenty five years of experience in pharmacy related businesses.  She has expertise in pharmacy program strategy and process, consumer engagement, business process improvement, clinical programs, and M&A.  She has proven results working with large health plans, top 10 PBMs, as well as retail pharmacies, specialty pharmacies, long term care pharmacies, life science companies and investor backed pharmacy companies.

Relevant Experience

For a top 10 National health plan, created strategy, design and implementation of new pharmacy organization.  NewCo activities included partnership
analysis, PBM strategy, clinical program development, analytics tool selection and implementation and customer experience design and implementation.

For a top 10 National health plan, redesigned the overall sales program including sales process, methods and market messaging driven by a rapidly changing sales environment. Included updating sales focus, compensation and training to deploy most appropriate sales professionals against target clients.

For a top 5 National health plan, redesigned their Medicare department claims intake, communications process and claims backlog management in anticipation of CMS audit.

For a top 5 specialty pharma, conducted assessment of current customer intake process, impact to patients, and scalability. Deployed new customer strategies, new patient contact approach and new triage process strategy to address rapidly growing company’s focus on patient-service.  This assessment and implementation included an overnight delivery program from the specialty pharmacy to alternative sites of care other than the patients home.

For a top 10 PBM, developed a new program for the prevention of opioid drug diversion at the PBM, retail and specialty pharmacy.  Included creating and implementing prevention methodologies utilizing data science analytics and predictive modeling of future theft.

Education and Other Experience

Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, Kim held a number of senior leadership roles including  Managing Director and Chief Pharmacy Officer at Deloitte Consulting LLP, ConsumerMed, Express Scripts and Towers Perrin.  Kim holds a B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Georgia, and a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Georgia/Medical College of Georgia joint degree program.  Her area of specialty was in Neonatal Medicine.
