Relevant Experience

For a multi-state health plan, launched their first Member Advocacy solution with a marquee multi-state employer customer and designed a long term enterprise Advocacy strategy. 

For a multi-state health plan, designed a comprehensive enterprise wide Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) strategy, business case, and roadmap.

For a multi-state health plan, led efforts to redesign the Care Management operating model and portfolio to drive improved ROI via claims savings and increase revenue through ASO group buy-ups.

For a multi-state health plan, defined risk enablement capabilities required to improve provider performance and enable novel networks and products and developed a comprehensive business case and roadmap to secure enterprise funding.

For a multi-state health plan, created the strategy to mitigate risk of large employers directly contracting with providers.

For a large regional health system, created the vision and roadmap and secured funding for the 5-year population health management strategy, spanning new enablement capabilities, new physical and virtual care models, and new medical management actions.

For a state based plan – led the analysis, design and negotiation of 2 value-based partnerships between the health plan and two providers; an integrated health system and a large multispecialty physician group.

For a national provider, evaluated strategic and financial feasibility of launching an insurance product and identified target markets and target payers for value based care partnerships.

For a national retail pharmacy chain, supported the pilot launch and led the subsequent national expansion of a new business model to partner with physician groups and health systems to engage and manage polychronic patients and capture value-based revenue.

For a state based plan, developed an organization wide ACO strategy including identification of potential provider partners, reimbursement and performance management criteria, and IT and enablement requirements.
